A Tomb burials.jpg the Pharaoh

Funeral Program

Tragedy Strikes! The pharaoh has died. Luckily, all the preparations for the tomb have been completed. Now, you must plan for the actual ceremony that will prepare the pharaoh's body for burial and for the funeral itself.
Task: Create a "program" for the funeral. It should be very detailed and explain the purpose for each part of the elaborate process that occurred when a pharaoh died. Include a timeline in some manner so people will know what parts of the ceremony will be completed and when. Include what the ancient Egyptian believed happen to the pharaoh after he or she was buried as well! Also include the workers that will be used during each part of the process of preparation.

You will present this program to the people of Egypt so they know the pharaoh is being properly prepared for the afterlife.
